Flavor-packed chicken fans in the Highlands don't have long to wait. Wingstop’s iconic branding has officially taken over the former Pizza Hut site at Inverness Shopping Park on Eastfield Way, with work crews currently hard at work transforming the interior.

If all goes to plan, the doors will open to the public in just three weeks.

A spokesperson for the chain shared: "We’re excited to confirm that Wingstop Inverness is currently set to open on the 11th August." Additional details are expected to be announced as launch day approaches.

The Expansion into the Highlands

Rumors of the expansion first surfaced in March when refit plans were submitted to Highland Council. The rumors were all but confirmed in April when the company kicked off a local hiring spree, sparking massive excitement among local fans who previously had to travel to Aberdeen or Central Scotland to get their fix.

Founded in Garland, Texas back in 1994, the global sensation now boasts over 1,500 locations worldwide. The new Inverness branch will mark Wingstop’s eighth spot in Scotland, joining its existing lineup of dine-in and delivery locations across Aberdeen and the Central Belt.
