Things to Do
A sub-tropical garden on the shores of Loch Ewe, started from bare rock in 1862 and thriving thanks to the Gulf Stream despite sitting at the same latitude as Moscow. Rhododendrons, Himalayan blue poppies, and Californian redwoods, plus wildlife boat trips and Scotland's "Big 5" species on the estate. Cared for by the National Trust for Scotland.
